Kearis has a bachelor's degree from Western Governor's University in Elementary Education, and has been working in early childhood education for 8 years. She founded Whole Child Family Daycare in 2020, and now works as the director of the center, overseeing office tasks and helping out as needed. Kearis was raised in Bear Lake, Idaho and has settled here in Rexburg with her husband, John, who is also a teacher. They have a 5 year old spunky-sweet daughter named Ava.
