director
Kearis has a bachelor's degree from Western Governor's University in Elementary Education, and has been working in early childhood education for 7 years. She founded Whole Child Family Daycare in 2020, and now works as the director of both the family center larger facility. She believes in loving and valuing children as the beautiful little people they are, and the powerful adults they will become. Kearis was raised in Bear Lake, Idaho and has settled here in Rexburg with her husband, John, who is also a teacher. They have a 3 year old spunky-sweet daughter named Ava.

assistant director
Mariah is the assistant director of our larger center. She has previous experience in behavior intervention and uses it to help our kids work through their big emotions in a healthy way. She is passionate about connecting with kids and helping them become strong, independent, and emotionally intelligent children! She is hard working and dedicated to making sure your kids are happy. She has a bachelor's degree in Sociology that she earned from Brigham Young University, Idaho.

" I recently moved to Rexburg with my husband from Redlands, California. We are both attending school at BYU-I but I am taking some time off to work while he finishes up his last few semesters. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, running playing the piano or guitar, and cooking/baking! I love working at Whole Child because working with children allows me to end everyday with a sense of fulfillment."

"I am an Elementary Education Major at BYU-I. I am from Ogden, Utah. I love reading, drawing, and painting. I work at Whole Child because I love working with all ages of kids. My goal as a teacher is for the kids to have fun and express their creativity through learning about different aspects of the world.

I love working with kids because I get to see their personalities and relationships develop and it's really rewarding to know that I am helping them build a sturdy foundation for their lives. Oh, I also love cats!"

“Hi. I am Summer. I am 25 years old and am from Virginia. I Graduated in December 2022 with a Bachelors in Marriage and Family Studies. I’m sticking around for my husband, as he is still in school. I have been working with kids for three years now and have loved every minute of it!

Hi! My name is Ashlee Cromarty. I am originally from northeast Tennessee, but my family and I just moved back to Rexburg from Alberta Canada where we have been living the past 3 years. My favorite part about working at Whole Child is the environment. All of my coworkers love being there and make it a happy place to be!
" I moved to Rexburg from Asheville, North Carolina, so that my husband could attend BYU-I. I miss hot and humid days a lot! Some of my favorite things to do are: Baking, reading, and taking care of my many houseplants. I am working at Whole Child because I love to care for others, it gives me a sense of purpose."
